Chocolate fondue is a warm, indulgent dessert originating from Switzerland, consisting of melted chocolate kept warm in a fondue pot and served with dippables such as strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, and cubes of cake. It's as much a social experience as it is a dessert, meant to be shared and enjoyed together.

1 small Banana (0.5 bananas if it's a big banana)
50 grams of Strawberries (Can be more or less if banana is preffered.)
55 grams of Dark Chocolate Chips
Butter (1/3 Tablespoon of Butter)
Vanilla (1/3 teaspoon of vanilla extract)
24 millilitres of Cream (preferably heavy cream)
1
Prep the fruit: Slice the banana, sliced into thick rounds and rinse the 50 grams strawberries, hulled. Arrange them on a plate ready for dipping.
2
Heat the cream: Pour 0.1 cups heavy cream into a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Warm it until it just begins to simmer — do not boil.
3
Melt the chocolate: Remove from heat and add 50 grams dark or milk chocolate chips and 0.3 tablespoons butter. Stir continuously until fully melted and smooth.
4
Add vanilla: Stir in 0.3 teaspoons vanilla extract and mix well.
5
Serve: Pour the chocolate into a fondue pot or a small bowl. Serve immediately with the fruit for dipping.
If you don't have a fondue pot, a regular bowl works fine — just reheat the chocolate in the microwave in 20-second bursts if it starts to harden. You can also add a pinch of salt to enhance the chocolate flavour.
