Sweet Chilli King Prawns


A fantastic recipe for BBQ with a mix of other food or to have on its own.

36 large, raw King Prawns (Costco is a good place to get these)

3 tablespoons of Vegetable Oil

1 tablespoon of Runny Honey

1 tablespoon of Sweet Chilli Sauce



Ensure the prawns are peeled and deveined (Costco prawns will already be sorted)


Mix the the ingredients together in a large bowl. Stir the prawns into the mixture and marinate in the fridge for up to 2 hours.


Thread the prawns onto the skewers after marinating (around 6 prawns per person).


Barbecue over medium-hot coals for about 3-4 minutes, turning now and then, until firm and opaque.


Also need: 6 x Metal skewers (or soaked wooden ones)
